How Furniture Banks Work

What should you do with your good quality, gently used furniture when you’re ready to buy something new? Contact your local furniture bank. They will schedule a pick up of your donation for free, give you a tax deductible receipt, and then take your donated items to their warehouse for redistribution to families in need. In this way, furniture banks collectively help over 100,000 men, women and children each year and divert hundreds of tons of furniture from landfills.
